New visual identity for The Louis Theroux podcast
Spotify asked us to reimagine the visual identity for The Louis Theroux Podcast, aiming to build on his BBC success while drawing in a broader audience. We leaned into Louis’ quirky charm and trusted presence, using bold colours and playful design to signal a fresh, entertainment-first approach.
we listened
Following the success of Louis’ BBC show, Spotify wanted fresh artwork that would still appeal to his existing audience, as well as attract new listeners.
we solved
We wanted to create something that felt fresh while staying true to his personality and the trust he’s built with the audience. We injected some fun and colour into the visuals for his new entertainment-led interviews, through a lively new colour palette inspired by his earlier work, Weird Weekends.
we delivered
The result was a series of striking key images as well as some funky “waiting room” clips to be used on social media as teasers for upcoming guests and topics.
